EAST GREENWICH ROTARY CLUB ELECTS ROBERT K. MACKENZIE, PRESIDENT

East Greenwich, RI – The East Greenwich Rotary Club is please to announce that Robert K. MacKenzie has been installed as their new President. Robert K. MacKenzie of East Greenwich, was installed as President of the East Greenwich Rotary Club at a dinner held at the Post Office Café on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Mr. MacKenzie has been a member of this club since 1994 and has previously served as Vice President, Secretary and served on the Board of Directors. He is employed at Amica Mutual Insurance Company as Vice President and Corporate Secretary. The East Greenwich Rotary Club was founded in 1962 to serve the local community and promote international goodwill. The motto of “Service Above Self” is at the heart of the club’s activities. All money raised by this service organization is return to the community in the form of scholarships, food, clothing and heating assistance, camperships and many other worthy needs.
