OUR MISSION

 Grantmakers Council of Rhode Island (GCRI), is a nonprofit, membership organization serving corporate, community, family and individual grantmakers.GCRI's mission is to promote and enhance effective philanthropy in Rhode Island by providing members with opportunities for networking, professional development, knowledge sharing and collaboration. 

Activities of the Grantmakers Council of Rhode Island include:

• Building the knowledge and skills of local grantmakers

• Providing a forum for Rhode Island area grantmakers to collaborate together and with other partners

• Introducing new people and organizations to the practice of philanthropy

• Providing information and connections to other resources on charitable giving and trends

• Working to make the practice of grantmaking in Rhode Island more efficient through development of tools such as a Common Proposal Form
